Getting help doesn’t sabotage your career,
but not getting help can!
The Colorado Lawyer Assistance Program (COLAP) provides a confidential, free, non-disciplinary way for judges, lawyers and law students to seek appropriate help for problems before they sabotage an individual’s career and/or quality of life. All referrals are confidential.
COLAP provides educational materials and presentations regarding the causes of and remedies for impairments (mental & physical) affecting members of the legal profession.
COLAP provides assistance in investigating and planning interventions, assistance with entry into aftercare programs & professional peer support meetings, obtaining sponsors and mentors.
COLAP provides free monitoring services for a variety of situations.
PROBLEMS ARE NOT A SIGN OF FAILURE BUT AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH
